Apostle teaspoons were perhaps the early 20th century icon of afternoon tea in Great Britain where they were especially popular. (They were also very fashionable in Germany.) Production stopped in the 1960’s and they are getting increasingly difficult to find.
Our spoons are typically electroplated nickel silver and marked on the rear face with “EPNS.”
This dainty teaspoon measures only 4 ½ long and perfectly on a bone china cup and saucer. They are a fine addition to an elegant afternoon tea.
