PHOENIX MOONLIGHT

This rare tea comes from Mt. Phoenix, a little-known garden in Pu’er. This tea is only produced during the early spring. It offers a light, pleasant tasting experience with soft floral tones akin to rose at the start. Towards the middle, stone-fruity attributes like pear add a sublime texture to the liquor. The aftertaste is of sweet grapes generating a splendid experience of a Yunnan spring harvest.  Country of Origin: China

KATHMANDU GREEN

Kathmandu Green is a premium green tea that undergoes minimal oxidation in processing. This helps in retaining the plant’s natural appearance and color. It also preserves the healthy properties of the plant.   Its complex flavor is due to the processing technique. Kathmandu Green is roasted which preserves its mellow favors and subtle taste. It has floral aromas and grassy taste notes. The infused leaves give a marine scent, which is how the quality of green teas are technically determined.  The more marine scent, the better the quality.  Country of Origin: Nepal

TI KUAN YIN (Also known as Goddess of Mercy)

This oolong from the Anxi region of Fujian, China represents the high-end of the traditional Ti Kuan Yin teas.  The dark, emerald-green leaves that are 40% oxidized are tightly wound and unfurl upon brewing, imparting a smooth body and sweet finish.  Can be infused 6 times!  Legend tells of a poor farmer who took care of a shrine of Guan Yin, who rewarded his efforts with a gift of a special tea bush which ultimately made him and his neighbors very wealthy. KENYA – MILIMA

This is a blend of high grown teas from the Kaproret, Samarek and Chemise Estates. Hand plucked at dawn and using orthodox methods, the leaves are rolled to maintain the floral character and obtain the twisted leaf appearance.  A perfect all day sipping tea which yields a well-balanced liquor with dark amber hues and fruity nuances in the aroma.  Excellent self-drinker, or good with milk and sugar.
