Moroccan Mint

This is an excellent example of a green tea and mint blending into a very pleasant Moroccan Mint tea. The refreshing aroma of mint fills the air and instantly calms you, while the green tea energizers you just enough. It is perfect whether served hot or iced.

The infusion dates back many hundreds of years. History tells us that it first appeared during the late-17th or early-18th century, having come about from an intervention by the British monarch, Queen Anne (1665-1714). The story is that she sent tea to Sultan Moulay Ismail in return for releasing captured British citizens. 

Moroccan Mint is believed to have many health benefits from weight loss to improved digestion; from youthful-looking skin to better sleeping patterns.

Tasting Notes:

When first brewed, the Gunpowder tea’s mild grassy flavors are evident with moderate mint flavors. As it starts to cool, a moderate peppery zing mouthfeel emerges ending with a smooth buttery taste.
