Earl Grey Cranberry Sauce Recipe

Serves approximately 8

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons loose-leaf Earl Grey tea leaves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 12 oz. fresh cranberries
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, boil 1 cup of water. Add tea leaves and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain, discard tea leaves, and add prepared tea back into saucepan.
  2. Add sugar into tea and let dissolve over low heat.
    Once dissolved, add cranberries and simmer until the berries burst and the mixture thickens (about 10 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat. Let cool completed and serve.

Notes

  • Sauce will thicken as it cools.
