TIME FOR THE TEA PHOTO CONTEST

We’ve run competitions for tea cozies and poetry and now we’re inviting you to use your talents in the field of photography. 

What we are looking for: 

The photograph must have an obvious connection to tea. Some suggestions: growing tea, plucking tea, making tea, people drinking tea, serving tea,teashops, or tea wares etc. It should convey a sense of where it was takeneither in the United States or elsewhere in the world. 

THE PHOTOGRAPH DOESN’T NEED TO BE TAKEN THIS YEAR. FAVORITE PHOTOS TAKEN IN THE PAST ARE WELCOME. 

The contest will be judged jointly by:

Lorna Reeves, Editor, TeaTime Magazinehttps://teatimemagazine.com 

The judges will be looking for creativity, quality, originality, and overall impact. 

When to enter: Deadline is Labor Day, September 4, 2023. Entries received after that date will not be accepted. 

Entry Fee: FREE 

Prize: One winner will be selected to receive over $400 in tea-related gifts. In addition, the winner’s photograph will be featured in TeaTime Magazine. (*The winner must sign a photo release granting TeaTime a one-timepublishing right.) 

How to Enter:

Photographs sent via the mail will not be accepted. 

In order to be displayed in our online gallery without being stretched or distorted, photographs must be submitted in .jpeg, or .jpg format. 

Participation in the contest requires the collection of your name, email address, telephone number and full mailing address for further communications regarding this contest. 

Please, give your photograph a descriptive title and let us know the location of where it was taken. 

This competition is open to residents of the United States only. 

Individuals who are affiliated with The Larkin Tea Company, including current and former employees, are not eligible for a prize. Only one photograph per entrant is allowed. 
 
The contestant must certify that he/she is the sole creator and copyright owner of the submitted photograph. You retain your rights to your photograph; however, by entering the contest, you grant the Larkin Tea Company a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to publicly display, distribute, reproduceand create derivative works of the entry, in whole or in part, in any medianow existing or later developed, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, advertising and promotion of the Larkin Tea Company and its website, exhibition, and commercial products (this includes any sales of products utilizing the photograph). Any photograph reproduced will give the photographer credit as feasible. The Larkin Tea Company will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses. 
The Larkin Tea Company may select photos for use on its website or displayin a publicly accessible contest archive. Such selections will be made at The Larkin Tea Company’s sole discretion.
